Introducing "The Crew"

Holy Shit.... it's been awhile.  I almost forgot I even had a blog. Until last evening one of my "crew members" Ann- came to me and said, "We have something new we'd love to do through you." "Shoot", I said "I'm all ears" and sat down and closed my eyes to listen. Listening to Ann, means getting settled and getting quiet and opening my heart.  It takes my full attention. You see, Ann, is not alive- not in the physical sense that is.  Ann is one of my spirit guides, one of a group of four awesome Souls I call "My Crew". "Your getting better at connecting with us and hearing us accurately" she said.  "We'd like to ask you to let us teach through you now.  To communicate with those who have questions about life, the afterlife or whatever strikes their fancy. And we think you are ready to let that happen." "Do you mean channeling?" I said with slumped shoulders.  "I don't wan...

Doubt can destroy

I am human... shit lord almighty how easily my life reminds me of that fact on a daily basis.  And, I discovered, uncovered, and awakened to a nasty little energy that needs to get it's ass out of my life once and for all- Doubt. I did my first email mediumship reading this week.  I wanted to make myself more available and more easily priced for those who couldn't get into to see me or afford the longer time frame fee.  So, my enthusiasm came up with a great idea and I leapt right in- knowing darn well I could totally do it! I did the reading and it flowed beautifully.  The guy even had me laughing most of the time.  I hit send and waited to hear the validation and joy for the connection (we all need validation and gratitude).  No such luck..... I waited several days and no response. I began to fidget, worry that perhaps I had done a poor job and this person had no idea how to tell me this..... I began to doubt that I even should have offered email s...

Spirituality is a Sacred Subjective Experience

Image
Have you ever had a deeply spiritual and transforming experience that you couldn't wait to share with your friends, loved ones or co-workers because you just knew it was going to change their mind or life?  And did you notice that after sharing the experience you felt a little less excited or deflated in some way?  This is a common occurrence when sharing your Sacred Experiences with others. It's because spirituality is a one on one experience- it's subjective. To try and share the feelings of elation, "proof" and transformation with others is to share the experience vicariously and indirectly and it just plain ol' loses it's punch. I have had many a client run home to tell their family members about the amazing reading they had, only to meet with skepticism and hole punching enthusiasm.  It hurts but it's human nature to be skeptical. We are so afraid of being made a fool of, or being ripped off and we can't wait to point out how anothe...

Birkenstock Jesus

Image
So this morning as I was meditating and prepping for my full day of clients, I focused on the mantra, "I am the Holy Spirit" and it felt calm and good...... about 3/4 of the way through my rose quartz mala beads I felt a hand upon my front right brow.  It itched and tingled like crazy as it moved down my cheek with a stroking sensation.  I was determined not to let my attention drift.. "I am the Holy Spirit, I am the Holy Spirit"... the tingles moved around to the back of my head- Wow!!  They were intense and then graciously they faded out.  When I said my last affirmation, I felt him staring at me. He was sitting on my little couch, where all my clients sit, jeans, blue t-shirt and Birkenstock sandals.  As I looked at his feet, I heard him say, "I thought you'd like that touch of humor".  I knew immediately who it was, my dear brother and friend Jesus/Yeshua- the Holy Spirit.  "Everyone always talks about me as wearing sandals" he said ...
