Introducing "The Crew"

Holy Shit.... it's been awhile.  I almost forgot I even had a blog.

Until last evening one of my "crew members" Ann- came to me and said, "We have something new we'd love to do through you."

"Shoot", I said "I'm all ears" and sat down and closed my eyes to listen.

Listening to Ann, means getting settled and getting quiet and opening my heart.  It takes my full attention. You see, Ann, is not alive- not in the physical sense that is.  Ann is one of my spirit guides, one of a group of four awesome Souls I call "My Crew".

"Your getting better at connecting with us and hearing us accurately" she said.  "We'd like to ask you to let us teach through you now.  To communicate with those who have questions about life, the afterlife or whatever strikes their fancy. And we think you are ready to let that happen."

"Do you mean channeling?" I said with slumped shoulders.  "I don't want to let someone else talk through my mouth"

"Not in that sense" she smiled.  "We will use telepathy, as we do now, while you are in a higher state of awareness and then you can record what we say and share it with others through written word. How does that sound to you?"

"That I can do" I said with relief.

So..... here I sit today, typing away, opening the door and hoping you might want to walk through it with me.  Because it requires more than me you know.  Someone's gotta ask the questions!  I am willing to listen and receive the answers that are given, but you- YOU have got to ask the interesting questions.

Before you decide if you are in or not, I'd like to tell you a little about my guides.  I'll give more details through out the next week about each of them.  But a little overview to help you know a little something about the ones I call my Crew.

Ann, whom I've already mentioned, has been around me most of my life.  She didn't come fully into my awareness until about a year ago.  Mostly she was an incredible behind the scenes, wind beneath my wings, kind of Soul.  I actually saw her physically once when I was young.

At 9 years old I developed a pretty typical flu that had me in bed with a fever.  I was used to my mother coming into check on me in the middle of the night when I was sick.  So, I wasn't afraid when I felt someone standing beside my bed and felt them touch my forehead.  I opened my eyes, expecting to see my mother and was slightly confused by what I saw instead.

A radiant, literally glowing with blue light, woman with long blond hair and a white flowing gown was looking down upon me smiling.  She was radiating the most incredible peace from her eyes.  She never spoke but it fascinated me as she walked right through my bedroom wall.  This was my first visual of Ann.

Red Eagle is my Master Guide.  He was there the day I was born and will be there to escort me home on the day that I die.  He is my truest and dearest friend.  He has the driest sense of humor out of all my guides, but is a powerful protector and "get to the point" kind of guy.

And then the last two crew members, Frank and John (or Frankie and Johnny as I like to teasingly call them).  Both are Franciscan monks from the 1300's- and were caretakers of mine in a lifetime during those years in Paris.  It's not a pretty lifetime, and a very short one at that, but these two guys brought love and kindness into my life.  They aren't as strongly present as Ann and Red Eagle, but they have their place in my heart and make me laugh- gut clutching laughs some times.  And anyone who can make me laugh like that can be on my crew any day!

So, I'm waiting and I'm ready.  Send me your questions and I'll make a commitment to sit down and connect with them once a week or possibly more to share with you their responses.

But, you'll need to follow my blog by email if you want to be notified of all their beautiful wisdom!

  1. Where should we send questions to (in a comment here or email?) Thank you!

  2. Is it true or not that young children or even infants 7mo old can see the image of a loved one who passed? If this part is personal cut it out, I know a baby who kept staring at a blank wall all the time.
    Thanks Deb

    1. This is a good question! And actually a simple one I can answer for you now. It is a resounding YES!! They do not begin to shut down their full awareness until around 3 years of age. Some can hold onto it for much longer. It all depends on the supportiveness of the family related to these gifts.

  3. Okay...here is one of many questions I have. ..I often have an internal struggle between religion and the spirit world... I'm wondering whether having these spiritual connections or contact is something that God is okay with (I hear so much from both sides I'm not sure what to believe anymore and I was hoping you could shed some light on the topic) I want to try to connect more but worry that's something that would take more focus away from God and whether He's okay with that? (Does that make sense?)

    2. Also, God loves when we connect with each other in the name of LOVE! This is focusing on him. IF we love each other and listen to those that love us in our physical world, like our mom or sister for example..... this is no different than connecting with our family in spirit or our guides who are our friends and family given to us by God in Spirit.

    3. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but the link you provided takes me to a Target do it yourself nursery art and bookends, lol, hoping maybe there's a different link you could give me - thank you! :)

  4. In high school chemistry class I learned that "cold" doesn't actually exist. Cold is simply the absence of heat. I used to think that the concept of "evil" was simply the absence of Love. I'm beginning to question that as encounter sociopaths - those among us without a conscious. Sometimes I sense a dark energy or force at work when I'm dealing with these type of people. I'm wondering what your Crew can tell us about the nature of evil. Does it exist? Thanks :)

    1. Yes, there is a whole story about a student who brought this same subject up in his college class..... a guy named Albert Einstein!
It's a great question and I will add to my list for blogs.
      Thanks!

  5. When people pass and become a part of the spirit world, do they still remember and/or feel pain and trauma from their physical life? For example, if they had a really tough and painful physical life, does this carry on with them?

  6. When people are highly empathetically attuned to others yet, emotionally detached is this a trade off situation? soul work? or possibly something else?

    1. Emotional detachment.... are you seeing this is a negative light or as an ability to feel the energy but not attachment to fixing it?

    2. Over the years I've worked/met many social workers, counselors, people in the helping professions. A theme that seems to show up frequently (especially those who are naturally talented in this area) seems to be a detachment from feeling their own emotions deeply. One person explained it as being muted.

    3. I refer to that as the 'wounded healer' archetype. Those who want to guide others through the darkness of the shadow self without having conquered that dark passage within themselves.
Always best to use your intuition on that one- and find someone who has done and continues to do their own personal work.
There is also a pattern you will sometimes see called Spiritual Bypass where they try to talk you out of the feelings into being happy, without having validated the feelings.
But compassion does not require they feel it with you.... just that they are aware of, truly aware of those emotions in themselves and also being aware of knowing that you, like them will find your beautiful way through them.

  7. I have had the experience of speaking with my brother who has passed. My spirit guide was with me. I found it fascinating. I want to learn more about the spirit world and find out more about my spirit guide. How do I go about doing that

    1. I have a class online that can teach you how to do all of that! Check it out if you'd like

Or simply search books on spirit guide connection or mediumship.

  8. I recently went to a channeling and asked to speak to my maternal grandmother, Elizabeth. Although I didn't have any expectations and hold in the high regard the channeler herself, it didn't feel right - the conversation didn't seem to be my grandmother. My ? is was my grandmother speaking to me?

  9. I am curious about "burnout" for compassion-based jobs (non-profits, etc). People who have tough jobs in service, jobs where empathy is required almost constantly, hearing terrible stories about major suffering, overwhelmed/berated with information about terrible medical diseases and suffering (physical, mental, and financial), 40 hours a week. People who do this work do it because they want to do good and contribute to the world, but how can burnout be avoided? That feeling of being drained because the work is constant and never ending, and hearing about terrible things happening to others.

  10. Not sure if you've answered this yet. ... so we make these connections on earth with family and friends, and supposedly reconnect when we die, if we have multiple lives of trying to master things, do we retain these same relationships in the next lives? (Will my mom always be my mom, will I always have the same husband, etc?) How do we explain the power of these bonds and how do they connect afterwords?
